Beach Fun

Bismillah,
Alhumdulillah, what a great fun we had yesterday on beach. Alishbah enjoyed playing on sand.... Her excitment level was soo high that she was not allowing us to leave the beach :)

Taking a scoop of sand

And dumping in a bucket
Now holding a bucket... Look at her tongue
And putting on her own hahahahaha
Playing with sand

Feeling its texture

Making a sand mountain
I hide her feet in sand and start playing `Alishbah k feet kahan hain? (where are alishbah feet)`. She showing her foot and saying `yahan hain(here)`
We also saw a beautiful sun-set (SubhanAllah)
This kind of outdoor activity is very good for health... both sand and fresh breeze are way too good for all of us :)

Pouring

Bismillah,

For developing hands control and eye-hand co-ordination in your kid, one of the simplest way is to put a big bowl with water and some small pots

Alishbah pouring water in a jug
Again, a good way to keep your child busy :)

Messy Play: Kneading

Bismillah,

Whenever i knead wheat dough Alishbah always come and try to put hands on the bowl but this time I give her a bowl add few drops of green colour and little water... She spends hours in playing... Nice way to keep your toddler busy!!

Wheat with water and few drops of colour

Alishbah enjoying and mixing

Nice excerise for toddlers

Playing with wheat dough is fun and (most) young children love it. It actually helps in developing control and strength of the muscles in their fingers and hands. Those same little muscles which they need to be good and strong to hold a pencil and write with :)

Puzzle--ing

Bismillah,
We always try and provide our children with the best food so that they have all the nutrition for their proper growth. But what do we do for their mental growth????
Puzzles provide the food for brain right from early childhood. Toddlers love puzzles because these educational games challenge their mind and we love the benefits they give our precious little ones.

I know she is not attaching all correct BUT its f9 :)

Filling and Threading!!

Bismillah,

One of the effective way for developing fine-motor skills is threading and filling. It also helps in Hand-Eye Cordination. So here are some activities that she did this week

I put some peanuts in a box
Alishbah taking out one peanut from box
And putting it in a bottle

Inserting some colorful cheerios in a skewer (i attached a small hair-clip at the end so that cheerios dont come out from the other hand)

Another view of inserting

Messy Play: Finger Painting

Bismillah,

Last week we started some finger-painting
Alishbah like to paint  BUT BUT BUT more love to paint on her own (hahahahaha):) The painting experience was a bit tough and messy experience for me so try it just before bath time.
(I will try making edible paint at home later inshaAllah)

What is this mamma??

pressing and feeling the paint
see her happiness

Her first ever painting (ofcourse i helped her)

finger painting is very beneficient in developing eye-hand cordination, fine motor skills and sensory touch. What looks like a mess on the surface is truly a learning experience for your child.

Building Blocks

Bismillah,

One of the first and EVERGREEN activity of Alishbah is playing with building blocks which was gifted by someone... and she always enjoy constructing different things through her own imagination. Usually she build building of similar sized blocks which i think is quite good in shape recignition.

These kinds of toy blocks strength in a child’s fingers and hands, and improve eye-hand coordination.
