Love with Animals

Bismillah,

I have introduced some animals to Alishbah and she watches Learn Zoo Animals. The only thing i added that all these animals are created by ALLAH. We will soon visit any zoo inshaAllah for seeing all animals LIVE

Animals Video:

Her favourite animal is BIRD especially a flying bird. In addition, we also give food to birds by putting a bowl of water and bajara in our gallery. And when bird comes to eat she runs saying BIRD BIRD.

Reading Skills: abc Phonics

Bismillah,

These days I have started working on abc phonics. For this, she watches playlist ABC Phonics (please ignore the music... i am unable to find music-free video) everyday only for 15-20 mins. For introducting ABC i am following book  How to teach your child to read

Attached magnetic ABC on our fridge

Quran Listening

Bismillah,

Alhumdulillah, Alishbah loves listening Quran and yes this is our everyday and a MUST todo activity (since when she born) and now she started repeating some verses/words whenever I read/play any Surah (Alhumdulillah).

I found a very good and effective article on Teaching your child the Quran

Before sleeping she listens
  • Surah Fatehah,
  • Ayat-ul-Kursi,
  • Surah Al-Kafirun,
  • Surah Al-Ikhlas,
  • Surah Al-Falaq,
  • Surah Al-Nas,
  • Masoon Dua before sleeping
  • Surah Al-Mulk (sometimes)
  • Last two verses of Surah Al-Baqarah(sometimes)

You can watch all above through playlist To Be Listen Before Going To Bed.
In addition, we also listen Quran while painting, playing, eating etc

Messy Play: Finger Painting

Bismillah,

Last week we started some finger-painting
Alishbah like to paint  BUT BUT BUT more love to paint on her own (hahahahaha):) The painting experience was a bit tough and messy experience for me so try it just before bath time.
(I will try making edible paint at home later inshaAllah)

What is this mamma??

pressing and feeling the paint
see her happiness

Her first ever painting (ofcourse i helped her)

finger painting is very beneficient in developing eye-hand cordination, fine motor skills and sensory touch. What looks like a mess on the surface is truly a learning experience for your child.

Building Blocks

Bismillah,

One of the first and EVERGREEN activity of Alishbah is playing with building blocks which was gifted by someone... and she always enjoy constructing different things through her own imagination. Usually she build building of similar sized blocks which i think is quite good in shape recignition.

These kinds of toy blocks strength in a child’s fingers and hands, and improve eye-hand coordination.

Alishbah always enjoy listening rhythms/nasheeds and watching cartoons like other children BUT i am not the one who put their children infront of TV for watching any kind of stuff including cartoons. Alishbah picks everytime very quickly(mashAllah) so i become very much concious of things that she watches and listens :)

Here is the list of things that she watches
I will update more inshaAllah... and if you more related stuff than please do share :)

Playing with water and balls

Alishbah always love to play in water... you can leave her in water for hours... so i took a big bowl put some colourful balls and pour some water... she enjoyed it alot
If you want to try this activity with your child then please note:
  • If weather is cold then use a little warm water
  • Give this activity to your child before shower... because it makes a child wet
  • Place should that from where the water can be drained easily
