Using Laptop at this young age:O

Bismilah,

I am amazed watching Alishbah that how she works on a laptop at this young age... she can open the laptop on her own, click on a user to get logged-in... browse to her favourite video that she want to watch (i have saved some videos in a particular folder for her)... play the video... pause the video usually when she heards Azaan :)... replay the video when Azaan finishes ALHUMDULILLAH:)

Alishbah dont allow me to take pictures or make a video (i have to do it secretly) of her activities... But whenever i get chance i will do and upload inshaAllah :)

Shapes all around!!

Bismillah,

Yes yes, Ahumdulillah Alishbah knows most of the shapes now... But the funny part which makes me excited and happy is that she identifies them while walking around like tile shapes on floor.. shape of lift buttons... shape of a light bulb... shape of a book... in short any shape that comes around her and this recognizition never finishes Alhumdulillah:)

Following is her movie in which i am drawing some shapes and she is identifying. Still triangle, line and cube are missing which i forgot to draw :)

and aso forgot to mention that she can now draw a some what perfect circle, oval, a line, an apple & half star (hehehe). Will take picture of these shapes and upload them sooon inshaAllah!!

Pictures Recognization

Bismillah,

Long ago Alishbah`s father gifted two books to her. She was very excited after seeing the books while we were just at bookshop. But at that time she was too young and not ready to read them & always tried to tear them off. And now when shes around 22 months old enjoys watching and naming the pictures Alhumdulillah!!!

Following is a movie that i made when she is reading with her father (though she was not allowing me to.... but still i made it secretly hehehehehe :) )

Painting without actually touching it !!!

Bismillah,

Yes these are some painting done by Alishbah and me.... and without actually touching the paint. I then attached on the fridge :).   How?????

For this you will need:

Baking paper/wax paper  (i bought it from Dhs 1-10 shop for just Dhs 4)
Some colourful paints (preferable arcylic paints)

Now what we done
Alishbah putting some paints on baking paper
I then put another baking paper over it and now Alishbah is pressing the paints forming a texture
This what happened after some couple of presses by me and Alishbah
Then I de-acttached the paper(you will get 2 paintings now) dried them off and then cut down the edges. Tand-dana DONE!!

Beach Fun

Bismillah,
Alhumdulillah, what a great fun we had yesterday on beach. Alishbah enjoyed playing on sand.... Her excitment level was soo high that she was not allowing us to leave the beach :)

Taking a scoop of sand

And dumping in a bucket
Now holding a bucket... Look at her tongue
And putting on her own hahahahaha
Playing with sand

Feeling its texture

Making a sand mountain
I hide her feet in sand and start playing `Alishbah k feet kahan hain? (where are alishbah feet)`. She showing her foot and saying `yahan hain(here)`
We also saw a beautiful sun-set (SubhanAllah)
This kind of outdoor activity is very good for health... both sand and fresh breeze are way too good for all of us :)

Pouring

Bismillah,

For developing hands control and eye-hand co-ordination in your kid, one of the simplest way is to put a big bowl with water and some small pots

Alishbah pouring water in a jug
Again, a good way to keep your child busy :)

Messy Play: Kneading

Bismillah,

Whenever i knead wheat dough Alishbah always come and try to put hands on the bowl but this time I give her a bowl add few drops of green colour and little water... She spends hours in playing... Nice way to keep your toddler busy!!

Wheat with water and few drops of colour

Alishbah enjoying and mixing

Nice excerise for toddlers

Playing with wheat dough is fun and (most) young children love it. It actually helps in developing control and strength of the muscles in their fingers and hands. Those same little muscles which they need to be good and strong to hold a pencil and write with :)
